Saturn in Aquarius, 3 Years of Change, Technology, and Justice

Today (March 21), Saturn enters Aquarius, and will transit through this sign until March 7, 2023.

Saturn hasn’t stationed in the Water Bearer’s realm for nearly three decades; in fact, its last visit was from February 6, 1991, to January 28, 1994.

Saturn represents discipline, patience, responsibility, maturity and boundaries. Saturn rules time and, in contemporary astrology, is known as the Lord of Karma.

Saturn is often considered a planet that brings damage, a malevolent planet, the opposite of Jupiter. But Saturn is actually essential in the lives of all of us for our own personal growth, for our maturity.

Saturn represents our hardships and the lessons we learn in this lifetime. It can also indicate things that we fear or worry about, as well as how we deal with authority.

Certainly his way of acting is hard, concrete, sometimes terrible and can lead to difficult situations but that it was necessary to deal with situations. Saturn is the time, cronos, Saturn cut off the dead branches, things more useful to our work life, emotional and sentimental. After his passing we can be bigger, stronger and more aware of our quality. Sacrifice asks us this planet.

Saturn in Aquarius will find us taking our future much more seriously.

Saturn was actually Aquarius’ ancient ruler, before Uranus was discovered in 1781. The ringed taskmaster feels quite at home in Aquarius. People with Aquarius in their chart are given a great ability to envision ideas. This is the sign of the Architect who can picture in their minds eye a new vision that can then be made manifest. If you are an Aquarian you may be going through what is known as a “Saturn Return”. This is a testing and intense time where you will be forced to confront parts of your subconscious self.

The placement of Saturn in Aquarius is so favourable because Saturn is a planet of tangible manifestation while the sign of Aquarius is about new ideas and visions. A vision without manifestation is of no use but when the hard work of Saturn is applied to refine and perfect and implement the vision in the real world the two are a very powerful combination.

Saturn has spent 2.5 years in Capricorn, exposing the good, and especially the bad and the ugly of the Capricorn archetype: lack of integrity, misused power, materialism and corruption.

While Saturn was in earth sign Capricorn, it exposed the good, and especially the bad and the ugly of the Capricorn archetype: lack of integrity, misused power, materialism and corruption.

It recognized the limits of material resources; Saturn in air sign Aquarius finds people and social groups to be a more important resource.

Saturn in Capricorn found us looking to the past for clues about our history, and Saturn in Aquarius knows all the rules so that they can break and update them.

The energy is going to be focused on anything new, anything modern, and anything progressive.

Now, Saturn in Aquarius is determined to shake sh*t up, rewrite the rules, and change the world. It’s time to look for a different type of order.

Aquarius is the zodiac’s revolutionary—it’s known for its friendly, social, humanitarian traits—so the vibe is going from “let’s focus on these problems” to “let’s TALK about these problems, brainstorm ways to fix them, then go out and actually do something about them.”

As a fixed air sign, its focus is heavily on getting work done through its mental energy — thoughts and ideas are a big part of how this sign relates to the world.

New laws, international treaties, and global changes are going to happen soon.

Aquarius is also the sign of technology, the mad scientist of the zodiac, and Saturn’s trek through this air sign will crystalize advancements in the field, allowing for new, advanced tech to become incorporated into day-to-day life. (Fun fact, the last time Saturn was in Aquarius, a little something called the internet became part of our day-to-day lives.)

AI, space travel, virtual reality, and advances in medical technology are thematic of Saturn in Aquarius too.

Being able to navigate various tech tools and software will become more important than ever over the next few years as Saturn places great limitations on those who aren’t with the times.

Working remotely from home will continue to be picked up by more companies as advantages are realized and the health of worldwide communities necessitates.

Although we’re more likely to lean toward scientific rational while Saturn is in Aquarius, there will still be an interesting dynamic between scientific communities and spiritual folks as Aquarius is both academically and spiritual-oriented. Saturn in Aquarius encourages us to elevate the mind, but we’ll have to be mindful not to fall into reductionism or dogmatic beliefs. As the planet of reality, Saturn in Aquarius will lead us to redefine what is possible.

Aside from its worldwide impact, Saturn in Aquarius is bringing personal changes to your life too.

ARIES

What kinds of people do you surround yourself with? What associations or groups do you identify most with? You may realize that you no longer click with people who were your besties a couple of years ago, or you may decide that your professional network or political affiliations just aren’t very you anymore—and that’s okay! You’ll probably lose a few (or more) friends, but it’s time to find a new, better crew. Likewise, your hopes and dreams for the future may change dramatically. Honor yourself, your goals, and your beliefs, and hold yourself accountable for surrounding yourself with people who want to support you as much as you support them. By the time Saturn’s done with its time in Aquarius, your life will have undergone a major upgrade.

TAURUS

Certainly the squaring of Saturn for you will be very heavy and it will not be absolutely easy to digest and to endure. First of all, be careful about health and do not underestimate any discomfort that may worsen with the passage of time and then as soon as you have some health problems go to your doctor and do not underestimate anything, no symptoms. If health then can be the Achilles' heel during this planetary transition also the optimism and the level of self-esteem will drop a lot and will not allow to be very positive towards life. Life itself teaches that positivity and optimism bring good things while negative thoughts and pessimism create further difficulties and during these years you will not be able to be very happy, calm, quiet and balanced. But you must not give up. To combat this astrological aspect one must do one very important thing, that is to work a lot, get tired a lot without hoping to achieve excellent goals. Saturn wants a lot of effort and a lot of sweat from you and does not give satisfaction. All these months, therefore, are very tiring in the work and many of you can age more quickly with some problems to the bones and teeth that are often weak points with this planetary transition. We must also pay close attention to any enemies who hide and can create many professional complications and be careful not to waste money on absolutely wrong investments.

GEMINI

Saturn’s transit through Aquarius is actually not going to be that hard for you, Gemini! Since Aquarius is a like-minded air sign, Saturn’s doing a great job of harmonizing with your Gemmy vibes. This transit is helping you to do your favorite thing—learn! First and foremost, if you’re a student (or thinking about going back to school), this is a spectacular time to slay the game in the academic world. And even if you’re not going to school, this is a period when your mind is expanding in big ways. You’re notoriously a lil flaky and you rarely commit to one belief/opinion/worldview for long, but Saturn’s all about stability and crystalizing your philosophy on life. One thing to watch out for: Saturn in Aquarius can make any long-distance traveling a b*tch and a half to handle, so make sure you triple-check your schedule, flights, everything if you’re going on any trips in the next couple of years.

CANCER

With Saturn’s transit through Aquarius, you are coming face to face with other people’s impressions and values. Sometimes this is addressed by dealing with matters involving other people’s money, consolidating debts, or taking out a loan. Other times this involves clashing with other people’s opinions, and learning how to live with other people’s perspectives while maintaining your own integrity and bottom line. If you have been relying on others too much, you are likely to encounter situations that require you to stand on your own two feet, while others will learn how to cooperate and depend on others in order to reach their goals. Sometimes this transit brings up feelings about your own mortality or some form of loss, which ultimately helps you see what matters most to you at the end of the day.

LEO

The meaning of commitment becomes a greater focus of yours during Saturn’s transit in Aquarius, and you’ll be encouraged to spend time and energy on relationships that offer more stability to your life. Saturn binds things and people together—but Saturn also symbolizes boundaries. If you’re romantically involved with someone but haven’t defined your relationship, Saturn will nudge you to do so. In Aquarius, Saturn reflects a need for clarity and communication, especially when it comes to what you do and don’t want in a partnership. As the planet of tough love and limitation, Saturn could also reflect growing pains in your partnerships—including business-oriented partnerships. The mood can feel icy or indifferent between you and those you’re closest to during this transit, but if tension rises to the point where you don’t feel like you can be yourself anymore, you’ll need to discuss boundaries or maybe even move on from the relationship. If you find yourself ending a partnership during Saturn’s transit through Aquarius, consider it an opportunity to better understand what you need from a committed relationship and how to be a reliable partner.

VIRGO

Saturn in Aquarius is not treating Virgos very kindly for the next couple of years. Saturn’s transit through Aquarius is rough, tough, and extremely hard to handle—but if anyone can handle it, it’s you, Virgo! You’re one of the (if not the) hardest-working signs, and the next couple of years marks a period when your obligations are reeeaaally piling up. This means your job (and the rest of your life) is busier than ever, so it’s your mission to stay focused and productive and make sure you’re getting all your sh*t done in a timely fashion. Your health is also a focus right now. It’s not like Saturn’s going to magically make you sick out of nowhere, but if you’re not taking care of your physical and mental health in practical ways, you’ll start to feel it. How can you survive this transit? It’s simple! Eat well, exercise, take care of your mental health, and set a productive day-to-day routine. Make healthy lifestyle changes and commit to them. You got this.

LIBRA

Superfluous intimate relationships aggravate your Saturn as it enters Aquarius. Lately, relationships have acted as a welcome relief from your strict workload—but Saturn in Aquarius calls you out on the half-assed parts of your relationships, encouraging you to treat your heart with more respect and care. Similarly, this transit asks you to act in a straightforward way when making deals or interpersonal agreements—you've got to solidify your rules of engagement before Saturn in Pisces in the future improves your ability to blur the lines. If you've struggled with health issues in the past few years, try to crack the case again as hidden pressures may ease up with Saturn in Aquarius. Respect is more important in your relationships than ever. This is a time to carve out space in your social circle and creative life takes your pleasure and your happiness seriously. Work through your creative blocks or any hesitancy to self-express by throwing perfectionism out the window and recognizing that your friends will appreciate your work no matter how high your personal standards are.

SCORPIO

As Saturn transits through Aquarius, your focus shifts to a more internal perspective. Nothing appears to be going on at the surface, but when you dig deep, you may notice that your emotional world—as well as the things you base feelings of security on—are being overhauled, leading you to become more resilient. Your emotional wellbeing, family issues, and the topic of housing become more pressing with Saturn’s transit. You could move to a new home, make your first home purchase, add a member to the family, or deal with longstanding emotional issues that hamper your wellbeing. Now is an excellent time to seek professional help from a counselor or psychotherapist, spend time writing in your journal, and reflect on your feelings, as you’re ready to make productive emotional changes that leave you feeling more stable and secure than you have in the past. Tending to your emotional world in a productive, positive way will set you up for success in the following 14 years.

SAGITTARIUS

In Aquarius, Saturn asks you to become more discerning in your thought processes. This transit reflects a period when you’re feeling serious-minded and interested in diving deeper into new learning opportunities. If you have a habit of speaking freely and off the cuff, you could find this a challenging time when you’re nudged to think and pause before speaking as your words carry more weight. Alternatively, it could feel harder to articulate yourself in the way you would like, which makes this a great time to work on your communication skills and spend time meditating on what your genuine thoughts are on topics that are important to you. Signing up for workshops and online courses could be commitments you’re interested in during this transit—but be mindful that people will expect you to take learning seriously. You’re also not likely to travel far from your local area during this time as Saturn restricts movement, but it’s a great opportunity to get more involved in your community. Don’t be afraid to share your originality during the next few years, because you’ll realize new ideas and how to share them in ways you’ve always wanted to, but never knew how!

CAPRICORN

If you’re reading this, congratulations! You survived Saturn’s transit through your sign, which is always a wild time, and now you don’t have to worry about the ringed planet’s wrath for another three decades! You’ve undergone a massive personal transformation, and now Saturn’s influence is shifting from your 1st house, which rules your sense of self, to your 2nd house, which governs your values and your valuables. What I mean by that is your morals, self-worth, and material possessions are all being highlighted for the next couple of years and you’re being pushed to develop a more realistic attitude toward them. You’re an earth sign, so you tend to be on the more materialistic side. Right now, you’re learning that you rely on your financial situation or possessions to determine how you feel about yourself as a person. Financial hardships are likely coming your way, so do what you can to save up money ASAP and organize your finances before sh*t hits the fan. You’re not gonna go broke out of nowhere, but you are going to learn that there’s more to the world than the stuff you own. This is a period to be frugal, work hard, and build up your self-esteem through your actions and inner values, not how much money is in your bank account.

AQUARIUS

This is a major, major period of your life, Aquarius. Saturn will be in your sign likely only two or three times in your entire life, and this is the start of a new, nearly 30-year cycle. You’re an outgoing, extroverted air sign, but Saturn is urging you to put the outside world on the back burner and really get to know yourself on a deeper, more significant level. That means instead of focusing on how your friends, lovers, coworkers, etc. treat you, you need to consider your inner traits and qualities. Get in touch with you—your wishes, your desires, your values, your talents, and your physical/spiritual/emotional needs. It’s difficult to connect with others now, because this is a period when putting yourself first is a must. You’re minding your own business, taking care of your own personal agenda, and, over the next few years, you’re creating a more solid, structured persona that’s true to who you are, deep down.

PISCES

When there’s any planetary action happening in the sign before yours, it’s said to be “in aversion” to you—it’s almost like Saturn’s drama is going down just outside your line of sight. That being said, just because Saturn is hiding in your peripheral vision does not mean you’re safe from this transit. The influence of Saturn just isn’t directly focused on your personal life. This is the end of a nearly 30-year cycle, so you’re cleaning out all the areas of life, from your job to your relationships to your home life. That means it’s time to focus on getting rid of outdated relationships, distancing yourself from activities and settings that aren’t healthy, ending unnecessary beef with others, cutting your losses, and not dwelling on the past. Basically, you’re going through a factory reset so you can start from scratch and totally reinvent yourself when Saturn is in your sign in 2022.

Find your astrological Demon in this rare guide on Persian mysticism

In Princeton’s Department of Rare Books and Special Collections lies an illustrated manuscript on magic and astrology from Iran that includes 56 painted illustrations of demons and angels.

Demons, genies, and evil spirits permeate ancient occult traditions in Iran and neighboring countries. An early 20th-century Persian manuscript on magic and astrology held at Princeton’s Department of Rare Books and Special Collections provides a glimpse into this mystical world with dozens of watercolor illustrations of demonic, otherworldly creatures.

Dated to 1921, Kitāb-i ʻAjāʾib-i makhlūqāt (Wonders of Creation) includes an illustrated manuscript on magic and astrology, a book of spells listing incantation and talismans, and 56 painted illustrations of demons and angels. Several texts accompanying the illustrations in Arabic and Farsi are dated from 1911 to 1921.

A closing line at the end of the book suggests that it is composed of two main texts. It reads, “The book of the ‘Wonders of Creation’ and ‘The Seventy Two Demons’ have been completed.” It is not entirely clear which text is which, but Ali Karjoo-Ravary, an assistant professor at the Department of Religious Studies at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, tells Hyperallergic that the illustrated book of demons is most likely the second.

“This text describes the different demons associated with each zodiac sign and the ailments associated with each and some remedies,” Karjoo-Ravary, who published a blog post about the manuscript in 2017, says.

The zodiac demons are introduced as a series of menacing (although somewhat endearing) beasts, some multi-headed. Each is depicted with cuffs on its clawed or hoofed limbs, suggesting that these creatures had been bound or confined.

Other illustrations show the monstrous demons in action, attempting to inflict harm on humans with inscriptions of spells and incantations in Farsi. These latter drawings, according to Karjoo-Ravary, describe ailments and the demons associated with them, together with instructions on how to exorcise them. For instance, one inscription instructs sorcerers to take a handful of soil from underneath the feet of the possessed person and repeat the following sentence seven times: “God of the heavens and the earth, hurry, hurry, bring back, bring back, bring back the love for virtue.”

By contrast, the manuscript also includes illustrations of winged angels like Michael and Gabriel, who are summoned to expel demons and malign spirits.

The author of the demonology book attributes his knowledge to the court of Biblical King Solomon, who was believed to possess power over demons and spirits. However, the author’s identity remains a mystery. “We don’t know much about this figure other than the fact that he wrote this book, that he had some artistic skill,” Karjoo-Ravary says.

The author signs the book as “Rammālbāshī, the son of Ja’far.” However, “Rammālbāshī” is not a name, but rather a profession derived from the Farsi word rammāl (healer, sorcerer).

“A rammāl was a type of occult expert to whom people would frequently turn in the event that they had problems that couldn’t be solved by normal means, such as sicknesses that appeared incurable,” says Karjoo-Ravary. “They could do many things, primarily divination (which their name alludes to), types of magic, breaking spells, exorcisms, spirit summoning.”

Persian demonology has a long tradition that predates Islam. The Shahnameh (“Book of Kings”), a 50,000 verse epic poem written by the Persian poet Ferdowsi, is teeming with descriptions of battles between humans, devils, and demons.

Practicing rammāls still exist in Iran, typically performing palm-reading, faith-healing, and exorcism, but they have been outcast to the fringes of society.

“Rammāls are ridiculed by a good chunk of society,” says Karjoo-Ravary. “The official clerical establishment is mostly against them and magic, and even recently conservative critics of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad [former president of Iran] accused him of associating with rammāls and magicians.”

In his book, The Iranian Metaphysicals: Explorations in Science, Islam, and the Uncanny, Islamic studies scholar Alireza Doostdar writes that secularizing officials and intellectuals in Iran of the early 20th-century disparaged rammāls as charlatans, and blamed them for Iran’s “backwardness” in comparison to the developed West on superstitious beliefs.

This negative attitude towards rammāls continued throughout the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. Shi‘i clerics found the sorcerers’ use of the Islamic notions of the “world of the unseen” (Gheyb) and of genies (Jinn) as a threat to their spiritual hegemony.

And yet, these occult practices continue to thrive not just in Iran, but also in neighboring countries, according to Karjoo-Ravary. “Magic, the world of the jinn, demons, and exorcism are still around in most Muslim and other societies, even if they’ve been pushed into the peripheries by polite society.”

Get Ready For Venus Retrograde – Tempting Your Dark Side

Take care of yourself, because we’re fast approaching one of the most emotionally challenging and deceptive retrogrades in all of astrology.

Venus Retrograde 2018 starts on October 5th at 10° Scorpio. Venus retrograde will last for 40 days, until November 15th when Venus goes direct at 25° Libra.

Venus — planet of love, romance, luxury, prosperity, and affection — will begin her apparent spin backwards through orbit, taking our hearts with her. Remember that this planet isn’t all roses, diamonds, and love letters. Oftentimes, she can be jealous, possessive, and vindictive when she’s feeling threatened.

If Venus Retrograde 2018 is already giving you chills, listen to this: Venus goes retrograde in Scorpio, the most intense sign of the zodiac. Death, sex, finances, and taboos – in general, what people never talk about – are Scorpio’s territory.

Can you imagine what it means to have the Goddess of Love going through Scorpio? The Valley of death, the inferno? Let’s put it like this: If Romeo and Juliet was an astrological transit, it would have been Venus Retrograde in Scorpio.

Because Venus is in retrograde only 7 percent of the time, it’s in retrograde less than any other planet in astrology. This, in and of itself, makes its impact on our universe undeniably strong.

Challenging your ability to give and receive affection, make wise choices with your money, and resist negative temptation, it’s wise to avoid committing to love affairs or lofty purchases during this time. When Venus is in retrograde, she’s presenting you with opportunities that might seem thrilling at first, but will only lead you toward destruction.

Your love life will be put to thew test

Aphrodite’s bad points are often overlooked. She had a reputation for jealousy, revenge, possessiveness, and infidelity.

Love is a whirlwind of chaos and confusion during Venus retrograde. If you’re in a relationship, you might face conflict with your partner that puts your commitment in jeopardy. If you’re single, you might be tempted to ignore red flags and give your heart away to someone who isn’t trustworthy.

You will most definitely be thinking with your reproductive organs and not your brain, so do try to resist the sex if you can. You may get a series of red flags but still ignore them. A one night stand might during this time might seem harmless and disposable, but on a spiritual level, this goes far deeper.

Sometimes we think we need a sexual fling because it has been a while, we just want to have fun and we feel we can take it or leave it. But with Venus retrograde, we might develop an obsessive attachment to the so-called “friend with benefits”, which we hadn’t bargained for. We could find we are kept in a very unpleasant psychic, sexual bondage.

There’s also a chance that lovers or friends from your past will resurface, totally disrupting life as you know it.

Even though these romantic challenges can be severely damaging, remember that Venus is currently bringing every negative emotion in love to the forefront. She’s luring your heart towards danger, and you do have the power to see beyond her ruse. If a situation seems risky, that’s because it is. Do your best to avoid toxic temptation during this time and you’ll avoid much of the effects of Venus retrograde. Your ex is your ex for a reason.

But there’s much more to this Venus Retrograde than the obsessive intensity of Venus in Scorpio.

While Venus retrograde starts in Scorpio, Venus Retrograde ends in Libra.

And this is where (in Libra) we will have the final outcome, the resolution of this transit.

During Venus’ time retrograding through Libra, we are going to be encouraged to think about how our actions are affecting others.

Every action we take creates a ripple effect around the entire Universe. With Venus retrograding through Libra, we are going to be encouraged to really think about the other, and to reflect on whether we are treating people how we wish to be treated.

Be cautious with your wallet

Although Venus is known for being the planet of love, she’s also the planet of luxury, and during her retrograde, all that glitters is definitely not gold. You might feel tempted to overspend on things you don’t need, giving in to opulence and pleasure when it’s not wise, and feeling insecure about your financial state.

If there’s a non-essential and overly expensive product you’re lusting over, it’s wise to hold off on making the purchase until Venus retrograde is over. By the time this haze of deception has dissipated, you might suddenly realize that that product is a total rip off.

If you’re feeling ashamed of your financial state during Venus retrograde, trust that it’s also because Venus might be making you seem a lot less fortunate than you truly are. Remember that money comes and goes. By no means does your financial state define you. When Venus retrograde has you comparing yourself to the rich and wealthy, try to feel grateful for all that you already have.

Why Is This Venus Retrograde So Important?

From all Venus retrogrades, Venus in Scorpio retrogrades are the most profound and bring the greatest transformations.

Your life will be transformed to an extent you never thought was possible.

Venus Retrograde will thrust you out of your comfort zone and into the unknown. Yes, it can be challenging. Yes, it can be painful. It can feel like an unending, uphill battle against the world.

It can certainly feel like a difficult transit. And this is because Venus Retrograde can bring unfinished business back into your life. And we humans are wired to avoid having to deal with unfinished stuff. Otherwise, we would have dealt with the ‘stuff’ in the first place.

Unfinished stuff is heavy, energetically consuming and requires hard work and sacrifice. But if you don’t solve it, then it lingers somewhere in the background, and it ends up consuming even more energy and effort in the long run.

And this is where Venus Retrograde chimes in. She will challenge you to change what you are most comfortable with.

Let’s say you’re used to be the “giver” in relationships. Venus Retrograde will make you see the reality for what it is. Maybe people take advantage of you. No more hiding and fooling yourself that these people love you for who you are.

Or maybe you are the one taking advantage of others. Venus Retrograde will expose any unfair advantage or manipulation attempt in order to maintain power.

Even if every Venus retrograde is different, Venus retrograde cycles follow a clear pattern.

Unlike other retrogrades, like Mercury retrogrades or Mars retrogrades, Venus retrogrades are very cyclical. Remember the beautiful flower pattern?

Venus cycles repeat in fact 5 times over a period of 8 years. Each Venus retrograde is a repetition of the Venus Retrograde that happened 8 years ago, 16 years ago and so on.

Every 8 years Venus goes back to the same area of your chart.

Last time we had this was October 2010. Venus retrograde activated the same area of your chart. What happened back then in your life? Check your diary, look in your social media feed, or search your mailbox to find out what was going on in your life.

Channel your feelings into creative expression

All retrogrades are slow, introspective, and contemplative times, but Venus retrograde involves no ordinary introspection. It’s a journey through some of the darkest shadows of your heart, and it will have you oscillating between pain and pleasure as though you’re riding a dangerous, yet exciting roller coaster ride. This energy can be heavily destructive if it isn’t given form or structure. What better a way to channel your emotions than through art, poetry, dance, and self-expression?

The upside of Venus retrograde is that it can also be a wonderfully creative time. Whether you’re feeling aroused, angry, or full of heartache during this period, these emotions are the foundation of some of the greatest works of art known to mankind. Use it to create something beautiful and you’ll look back on this time fondly.

Mars, the warrior planet, goes retrograde

Mars joined Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto on the retrograde roster, and it'll have its sights set on our actions, decisions, and tempers.

Mars goes retrograde from June 26 - August 27, 2018 in the signs of Aquarius and Capricorn.

Mars represents the God of War and rules Aries. Like the ram, Mars is passionate, assertive, and impulsive.

When it’s going direct, Mars is assertive, straight-forward, and goes after what it wants. However, when it’s in retrograde, our energy and actions are halted. We begin to second-guess our instincts. Action is replaced with inaction, and our assertiveness is diminished, leaving us to question if we really know what we’re doing after all.

As a result, we’ll be anxious about taking on new projects, relationships, and anything else that’s new because we won’t feel totally in control of our instincts and actions.

This can also be a time where many people can get more easily angered or irritated. This can be potentially the most negative manifestation of this period. People who have strong Mars energy or many of those who are dominant Aries or Scorpio may notice these effects the most.

There can be a build-up of inner tension which eventually can be expressed outwardly, sometimes in a passive-aggressive way. If this applies to you, it would be wise to find a healthy way to release anger and ease tension in a way that is not harmful to you or the people in your life.

Mars retrograde is a time for thinking before acting. Don't push ahead, don't force or forge forwards. We should avoid taking risks and playing into our impulses. Mars retrogrades are said to prompt an uptick in accidents, conflicts, and destructive decisions. In other words, make sure your brakes are in good shape, ignore any trolls in your mentions, and think twice before meeting up with your ex "just to talk."

Then — get ready for it — there’s the issue of sexual frustration we might have to deal with. Yikes.

Mars is the planet that governs ambition and sexuality. It is a very masculine energy-dominated planet that manifests as a strong drive within each of us. Depending upon the person, the drive may be of a sexual nature or it may take on a more professional tone, but regardless, it’s one that can almost border on aggressiveness as well.

Mars energy, on a good day, is healthy sexual energy. But when we’re dealing with Mars Retrograde, we’ve got a whole lot of sexual tension going on that we don’t know what to do with. A retrograde period can mean that your desire loses its fierce, blazing heat and becomes something quieter or more unsure.

Mars retrograde 2018 makes challenging aspects to Venus and Jupiter to create an excessive amount of sexual tension. A restricting Saturn influence turns sexual tension into sexual frustration. Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto are also retrograde which further internalized this frustrating energy.

It is also possible that you have struggled with naughty Mars behaviors like anger, rage, violence or sexual abuse. If so, the retrograde phase will bring fated events that force you to admit you have some anger management issues. This too, could be a very painful experience for you.

It’s also a time when we will likely want to heal any sexual trauma that has occurred.

There can be a stronger desire than usual to go back to “fix” old problems and especially disagreements. We may be revisiting or rehashing old friendship matters or thinking about the past. We may be rethinking old relationships or jobs that ended because of disagreements. But while it’s an excellent time for identifying problem areas in our relationships, watch for obsessing over these issues, which is a strong tendency with Mars retro.

Old problems and conditions may resume after Mars turns direct.

As well, until we really get into touch with our desires and goals, it’s better not to commit to something important, mainly because we could discover that the goalposts can change more than once going forward.

Mars retrograde can be a useful time to rest and recharge. This is an excellent for introspection, for reassessing your desires and your methods. You might second-guess your entire approach. You might start to have doubts about the goals you’ve been working toward, or your own instincts, or your single-minded drive. And because it’s happening in Aquarius, it can be a particularly good time to rethink and reassess the ways you strive for freedom, and your plans for changing the world.

If you're not in a reflective mood but still want to stay on Mars retrograde's good side, just do your best to be patient and kind. Rather than being aggressive, be quick to step down and show compassion. As much as this planet is linked to confrontation and, yes, aggression, leaning into that influence during its backspin may come back and bite you later.

Neptune Retrograde – Spiritual Quest

Neptune went into retrograde in Pisces on June 18th and will remain there until November 24th. During this period, you’ll experience the crumbling of your old illusions and a soft, yet much-needed, reality check. Over the next five months, our lives are going to shift in really powerful ways, especially in areas concerning inspiration, spirituality, and universal oneness.

To get a better perspective on what Neptune in retrograde means and how it will affect you, let’s take a look at what Neptune represents.

Neptune is God of the Sea, and its home zodiac sign is — you guessed it — Pisces. So the planet is coming home, in a way. The retrograde trajectory plays around with that a little, but we’ll get to that in a bit.

Much like Pisces, Neptune rules inspiration, spirituality, dreams, psychic receptivity, illusion, and confusion. Subtlety is huge on Neptune, meaning not everything is loud and clear. The signs and hints of intuition you receive from this planet won’t be obvious, which means you have to let yourself trust your inner voice to recognize the opportunities and choices in front of you.

This “dreamy” planet is tricky, though, because it also represents illusions and confusion, meaning it’s easy to believe in what you want to see as opposed to what’s actually real. When it’s direct, Neptune is the planet that helps you make excuses for certain things you want to hold onto — maybe a bad relationship or job, for example — because its influence makes it easier for us to ignore red flags rather than deal with them.

However, when Neptune goes backwards in retrograde, it’s time to face the music. Neptune illuminates the dark truths about ourselves and our lives that we’ve held onto for far too long. It might be a painful reality to face, but it’s a necessary one. Listen to your gut and go forth, no matter how scary it might seem. Because the scarier it is, the more necessary it is to face it.

Getting that wake-up call, no matter how vital it is, is no easy feat. Ignoring painful truths usually becomes a habit that’s so ingrained in us that the reality of letting go of something, or someone, can cause us to question everything we thought was real.

Unsurprisingly, Neptune Retrograde is the ideal time for spiritual self-development. Now’s the chance to dig deep to discover what truths you believe in. Who or what do you go toward when you need to find your center? To help alleviate discomfort and confusion, turning to spiritual practices, such as meditation, yoga, or journaling, could be immensely healing during this time.

The good news is, unlike Mercury Retrograde’s short-but-deadly phase in which everything is felt so intensely, Neptune’s Retrograde is a lot longer, which means the reality checks you’ll be dealing with will be slowly drawn out and revealed. You will definitely be in it, but it won’t be so jarring.

Neptune’s retrograde phase might be the time for us to shed those rose-colored glasses, but in its place, we will be able to connect with a much clearer and real-er existence. Remember: you gotta feel it to heal it. We got this.

Shaken Out Of Comfort: The Transit of Uranus in Taurus

Uranus, the planet of great awakenings and change moved out of Aries to Taurus on May 15, 2018, where it will remain until 2026.

While you might not think of Uranus that much (unless you're making a dirty, astrological joke), this is actually the start of momentous shifts to come. Uranus in Taurus will be guiding your life for the next seven years.

Whenever a slow moving planet like Uranus moves signs, it creates a ripple effect that is felt throughout the entire cosmos, and brings a new energy for all of us to explore.

Uranus is known as "The Great Awakener," because he provides us with situations that help shake us into awareness and realize the truths and lies that we're living.

Generally speaking, the population is disconnected in a serious way. Uranus will challenge the false ideas of who you are, and free you from them. So, this chapter could be a new beginning for some people as they start to see their true nature, purpose, and place in the greater scheme of things.

Uranus is the planet that rules over innovation, technological advances and humanitarian achievements through the process of disruption and disassembly. The sign associated with Uranus is Aquarius, which rules over the 11th house of global consciousness. This is the human element that breaks apart old paradigms and forces growth in collective thinking, all with awareness and action.

It is the planetary tipping point. Uranus brings revolutions which ultimately better human conditions and they need to be born from chaos. Chaos naturally inspires Order. With this transit affecting the global masses, a sobering reflection on the condition our lives will be hard to ignore.

Uranus represents that which drives global radical action through the individual to become authorities over our own lives. It is the voice of the people, rules over humanitarian activities and challenges oppression no matter the cost.

Planet Uranus helps you break the rules, resist conformity, focus on alternative way of living, and rebel against society’s expectations. Uranus is brave and is not afraid to explore the unknown in search for a more fulfilling existence.

However, Uranus is in its “fall” (which means that his power is challenged) in Taurus since the energies are an awkward mismatch. Uranus focuses on the future while Taurus clings to the past.

To understand how this transit is going to effect you personally, think about what was happening for you around May 2010 and then again around March 2011. It was around this time that Uranus entered Aries, and now as Uranus is preparing to leave this sign, you are likely to feel a sense of completion to whatever was occurring.

While in Aries, Uranus would have been challenging you to step into a leadership position. You may have made some bold choices around this time, or there may have been significant life changes that shifted the path you were traveling on.

Uranus in Aries was all about making changes so you could step into your power and into the driver’s seat of your life. Perhaps reflect on this and see where you have stepped up in your life and where you have found more courage.

Celebrate yourself for how far you have come, and celebrate the changes that have occurred in your life so far. Try to see them with a positive mindset and just how they have shaped the person you are today.

While Uranus is all about change, growth, and awakening, Taurus is all about consistency, security, and stability. Uranus longs for change, whereas Taurus longs for things to stay the same.

These two energies are not exactly the perfect match, so there may be a push-pull feeling, and you may find it difficult to make or accept certain changes.

The ways that you seek stability and comfort are also going to be up for review under this energy. You may also find that what you once thought was secure and stable is no longer.

In fact, under this energy you may have to rework and reassess what makes you feel secure and stable. You may also have to let go and release attachments to things that once brought you comfort.

So many of us have been conditioned to receive our security and feelings of stability from material goods such as having a house, a job, money and so on. While these things do provide us with security, perhaps we are being called to dig a little deeper and learn to cultivate these feelings from within, regardless of our circumstances.

In a way, Uranus in Taurus is about letting go of your security blanket and learning to step out into the world with a little more freedom and a little more risk.

In some way, we are all going to be required to make a leap forward and to practice trusting ourselves a little more.

The ground beneath us may be shaking or unstable, or there may not be the security we once felt, but this is how we grow, this is how we learn, and this is how we discover who we really are.

On a global level, Uranus is going to create waves for the tech industry, medical research, and in all things relating to beauty and wellness.

Taurus’ astrological rulership includes money, work, material objects, security, farming, and the food supply. All of these areas will be radically revamped as we grapple with this new cosmic conundrum.

It's in these highly Taurean areas of life, matters of material value and the natural world, that Uranus will work its magic.

Uranus in Taurus is going to be challenging all of us to pay attention to how we are treating Mother Earth. We are going to be encouraged to really think about environmental issues, and how we can protect the planet.

Some astrologists predict that Earth may rebel more than usual with a few natural disasters possible.

During the seven years of Uranus in Taurus there will be more talk and directed action in topics such as sustainability, local farming, renewable and free energies, organic agriculture, and the eco-friendly revolution that will spread into all areas of life.

More people will prioritize living healthy lifestyles. Taurus will ask you to honestly point out areas in your health that can be improved and to properly address them. You may go through a diet change or win over longtime food addictions.

Startling exposés on genetic modifications using embryos to create human and animal hybrids may horrify the world. The vast majority of world-wide scientific research in this field is keep tightly under wraps from the public. However, Uranus just loves to rip the veil of secrecy off things. The mixing of species with the animal and vegetable kingdoms may also start to have some drastic consequences for our health and the birth of incurable diseases.

Spas and massage businesses should flourish, though they will change dramatically by incorporating new cutting-edge healing modes.

Money is Taurus' main area of expertise and because Uranus likes to break the rules, our long struggling and outdated monetary systems may go through severe shifts.

Expect some of the biggest banking houses and financial concerns to crumble from Uranus’s lightning bolt zaps. Enormous fortunes will be lost, but new ones arise from the ashes.

We can expect some very revolutionary ways of handling and dealing with money, both nationwide and worldwide. Many predict that digital money or cryptocurrencies will win over banks or at least start playing a bigger role in society.

Of course, this has an economic downside, as unskilled human labor will be replaced by robots and algorithms.

Novel ways to earn a living and to invest money will sprout up. Being an entrepreneur and starting up your own company will become fashionable. People will take greater risks to gain their financial independence.

Profit- driven Taurus can help us monetize our creations in interesting new ways.

Making purchases via the internet will be the norm as opposed to physically shopping in stores.

Interestingly, the last time Uranus visited Taurus brought the invention of the first ATM machine and the physical shopping cart!

Saturn, The Lord Of Time And Karma Goes Retrograde

It takes Saturn much longer to travel around the sun than Earth, about 30 years. Just as we spend about a month in each astrological sign during our solar journey, Saturn spends about three years passing through each sign. For instance, Earth just moved from Pisces into Aries. In December of 2017, Saturn entered Capricorn. And this is especially significant because Saturn rules Capricorn, and the next sign, too, which is Aquarius.

Saturn is turning retrograde, moving backward through its home sign of Capricorn from April 17 to September 6, 2018. This planet of order's retrograde period is a time to cultivate discipline, patience, and self-restraint.

Normally, Saturn is something of a celestial disciplinarian in astrology.

Saturn is known as the lord of time and karma; the embodiment of what goes around, comes around. And it’s during the retrograde period that karma is “sorted out.” Past, present, and future blur into one. If you have been bad in the past, then at a certain predestined time, an event will occur to teach you a lesson. If you been good in the past, then at a predestined time, an event will occur to reward you for your good deeds. With Saturn in retrograde motion, the karma will relate to how responsible you have been in the past.

The lessons associated with Saturn retrograde relate to your thoughts and words. Saturn retrograde 2018 will be especially challenging if you have a history of teasing or verbally abusing people.

Saturn retrograde shows the areas of life, or the personality traits and behaviors, which specifically need extra development. It will teach us the importance of being mindful and acting correctly from the beginning, as every decision will have lasting and sometimes unexpected effects.

Saturn retrograde in your natal chart means there was a problem with self-discipline or avoiding responsibility in a former life. Due to illness, immaturity or disrespect, you may have neglected looking after your loved ones. Perhaps you failed to earn a living to support your parents, or ran out on your partner and children. There will be some lessons or extra effort required this life to pay back this karmic debt. You must learn the lessons so you don’t have to go through this difficult cycle again.

From now until Saturn direct on September 6 is the phase where you learn your lessons. The lessons you learn might be hard but they will be valuable.

The greatest Saturn nature is disciplined, responsible, stable, respectful and reliable.

Gloomy thoughts, bad news or loneliness are possible even if you have been perfectly nice to all you meet. If you are prone to low moods or depression, Saturn retrograde 2018 may intensify your negative thinking. You may find it harder to get bad thoughts out of your head.

Saturn retrograde 2018 will help you recognize your own depressive moods and negative thought patterns. This is a great opportunity to erase any negative and destructive ideas about yourself and your life that have played over and over in your brain for years.

Now is a great time to either learn or further cultivate patience, so be very deliberate in your actions and choices. There’s no rush. Feeling impulsive? Hold back a little. Go nice and easy and don’t lose your discipline. The more slowly you move, the more focused you will be. You will need that heightened sense of focus and awareness as you come to examine the nature of your karmic contracts.

Saturn also represents limitations. It is a time for us to restructure. Saturn deals with programs, organizations and all things that deal with better systems and processes. It is about duty, loyalty, perseverance, endurance, form, shape, substance, boundaries and  responsibility. It is about being  held accountable to others as well as to yourself. It is about building an empire; creating a solid foundation from which to grow from or toward. Without a solid foundation, we become unstable and cannot fulfill our soul's instruction for this lifetime. We could wander without direction, cause, goals or vision; much less have a dream to hold or work toward.

We often don’t always thinking of love as being a step by step process, but often times when we end up in shaky territory in a relationship, it’s because we didn’t take the time to properly build the foundation together.

Saturn retrograde period will assist you in completing anything that is left undone, unattended to, partially completed or not completed at all. It does not pressure you to do these things, but gives you time to do them.

Saturn going retrograde will possibly be an uncomfortable period of time. And a long one at that. But it’s also a chance to create real magic in your life. Why? Because if you can handle the lessons that Saturn will throw at you over the next few months, you will be able to take charge of your destiny. And not just in this lifetime, but across all time and space.

You are in a place of privilege. You are so close to waking up from the illusion. Seize this moment and go all the way. Deeper, more complex and infinitely glorious mysteries await you on the other side of the illusion. Are you ready?

Jupiter Retrograde – Purify Body & Soul

If you've been feeling like your life is non-stop chaos lately, it's probably because Mercury & Jupiter are both in retrograde. That's right, you heard me. We're experiencing not one, but two retrogrades at the same time. Gather your bearings, take a deep breath, and stay calm. You can survive this, I assure you.

Turn inward for answers as giant Jupiter turns backward.

Giant Jupiter, the planet of expansion, growth and opportunity, became the planet of introversion and spirituality -- at least temporarily! (March 8 - July 10).

Jupiter retrograde happens once a year and lasts 120 days and provides us with the time and reflection to go over a big aspect of our life before jumping in.

Jupiter retrograde represents a time of philosophical or spiritual introspection and reflection.

Additionally, this retrograde is in the sign of Scorpio, a deep thinking sign that illuminates our own shadows, so we will be able to see our own ugly behaviors and get off our high horse to purify our own actions. You can reflect on what ignites your soul and what makes you feel purposeful during this time.

This year the main theme of Jupiter retrograde is poisoning of your personal value system and morals that affects your physical health. Jupiter retrograde 2018 signals the right time to start detoxifying. It is time to purify your body and soul.

If you have been immoral, hypocritical or deceitful, Jupiter will present opportunities to reform this area of your life. If you need to detox your body because of substance abuse or poor diet, Jupiter proves the motivation and personal power to transform your physical body.

While Jupiter is retrograde, we'll spend much time looking inward and relying on our own personal wisdom. We'll draw on this to explore the growth and changes we feel we need to transform our lives and put us on the path toward becoming the people we really want to be.

Instead of the happy-go-lucky planet pushing us to go go go, Jupiter will now go slow slow slow -- which means it's the perfect time to take a time out and examine our personal philosophies and reevaluate the beliefs that motivate us on a daily basis.

It's also a time to look at the details that are a part of our larger plan. Because Jupiter in forward-motion promotes activity and going out into the world, Jupiter backwards is all about knowing ourselves and our emotional life. Reconsider truths you previously thought to be self-evident. Are there any lies you've been telling yourself in order to get ahead? Re-examine these, and be more loyal to who you truly are.

Even in retrograde, Jupiter is all about finding the highest version of yourself. Use this time wisely -- it's a gift!

Millionaires Don’t Need Astrologers, Billionaires Do

Astrology has been used over the centuries by kings, Popes such as Leo X and Paul III, and historical figures from Benjamin Franklin to President Reagan, all who have consulted with astrologers. Brilliant mathematicians, astronomers and scientists were also astrologers: Aristotle, Hippocrates, Ptolemy, Copernicus, Nostradamus, Galileo, Johannes Kepler, (considered to be the father of modern astronomy), Sir Isaac Newton and psychologist, Carl Jung.

They trusted that the practice of astrology could provide valuable information to help them manage their affairs and make important decisions. Astrological interpretation offered them insightful analysis of the past, guidance to the future, and wise counsel they could depend on as being accurate.

Let’s take a closer look at a few of the more famous people who have used astrology. Then, ask yourself if you think that these were “ignorant” people or just intelligent, practical people, who were a little ahead of their time.

John Pierpont Morgan was a wealthy American financier at the turn of the 20th Century who consulted often with a well-known astrologer, Evangeline Adams. She gave him the best timing to make important investments in such companies as U.S. Steel Corporation and the Great Northern & Pacific Railroad, as well as the Boer War. His use of astrology for business made him a billionaire, back in the early part of that century when a million dollars was a vast fortune.

Benjamin Franklin was one of the most respected and famous people in colonial America. As history notes, Franklin was a publisher, inventor and statesman. Franklin was also Colonial America’s greatest astrologer. Historical research indicates that both Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, (who was another all-around philosophical, scientific genius, and fellow committee drafter) conspired to have the Declaration of Independence adopted on July 4, 1776, rather than on the July 2nd date urged by their fellow committee member, John Adams. Franklin knew the importance of choosing favorable astrological timing; and July 2, 1776 was bad! Instead, he picked a fabulous “astrological day” for America’s Founding Fathers to sign the Declaration of Independence.

President Theodore Roosevelt had strong ties to the world of astrology, too, and often quoted horoscopes. During the 1930’s and 1940’s in American history, astrologers ranked socially equal and as friends to politically and socially influential people. Having an astrologer, or even a psychic/medium consult with you was quite fashionable. Interesting how the times appear to change for collective social consciousness; yet, in the world of politics and government, astrologers and remote viewers are consulted regularly.

Ronald Reagan and his wife, First Lady, Nancy Reagan consulted astrologers regularly. Reagan had two inaugurations. He had his official and privately held on an auspicious astrological time for his entering the Presidency.

Walt Disney was the creative genius who created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Disneyland and a vast entertainment empire. It was well known that Walt Disney used astrological timing for business purposes to assure successful openings for his movies and theme parks. In the process he made millions of dollars using this information.

You know those Apple product launch events that always seem to be so randomly timed? Those dates are chosen by Astrologers.

Mansa Musa I of Mali is the richest human being in history with a personal net worth of $400 billion! Guess what he used? Astrologers. Yes, Astrologers.

There are many successful companies that use astrology for business- Apple, JP Morgan Chase, in fact there are rumors that the US government also has a few astrologers on payroll.

Astrology is one of the most ancient metaphysical arts. Entire cities were built on the principals of astrology and the planets were once worshipped as gods. In fact, so many ancient civilizations relied on the formation of the planets to execute plans such as wars, planting of seeds and harvests.

The basic principal of astrology is “as above, so below” which means that the planets in our solar system have the ability to mirror what is happening here on earth, almost like they shine their influences on the earth to create certain energetic force fields.

The day you “birth” something, whether it be a business or idea, is very important in astrology as it foretells the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise and reveals the different energies surrounding it.

Because astrology gives us an understanding of the energies around us, we can learn to select days of action that will be more beneficial and more fruitful when it comes to business. Just the same, we can avoid days that perhaps would not be conducive to success.

Learning how to select the best astrological days goes deeper than just picking a lucky day. Choosing the best day also depends on the chart of the people behind the business and what constitution they were born with.

While this can get technical, by understanding your own astrological chart you can begin to learn what types of businesses and projects fall into your strengths and what types fall into your weaknesses.

If you are looking to Launch a Product, a Business or an Enterprise, then here is what you need to know about Astrology:

Full Moon: When the moon is full it signifies a completion of a project or the end of a cycle. During a full moon it’s the perfect time to reap your rewards and enjoy the bountiful harvest that is on offer. Launch products within a few days of the full moon.

New Moon: This is the time to start new projects or plant new “seeds”. While the full moon is good for endings, the new moon is perfect for beginnings.

Mercury Retrograde: the planet mercury rules communication, technology, moving parts and contracts. For this reason when mercury is in retrograde it is never a good time to launch a new project. Usually when a contract is signed on a mercury retrograde things are fraught with delays, things are not what they seem, or the contract is terminated earlier than expected. Mercury retrograde however, is a good time to reach out to old contacts or clients who you have worked with in the past. It’s also a good time to reconvene on old projects that perhaps were placed by the wayside.

Venus Retrograde: Venus is the goddess of beauty, love and also profits. When she is in retrograde projects launched often do not return as higher profit as expected. The same applies to making investments when Venus is retrograde.

Mars Retrograde: Mars is the god of the divine masculine, action, energy and war. When mars is in retrograde, projects are often delayed, or sluggish and perhaps don’t have the energy to get off the ground.

Jupiter Conjunct Sun: A fantastic and very abundant time for launching projects as long as mercury is not in retrograde. A fantastic day to sign contracts, make deals and to invest.

Saturn Return: This happens to everyone between the ages of 28-31. During this time we feel the urge to put our roots down and to establish ourselves in our chosen careers. The only risk here is that while Saturn gives us the power to create “roots” it also wants to ensure that we take responsibility and follow the law. For this reason, any businesses ventured to in this time that have dodgy or unfair practices could prove problematic or provide a much needed “wake up call”.

Regardless of when you choose to launch your business one thing is always for sure- it’s the energy that you put into it that achieves the results. Why not make things easier for yourself and pick the best day?

What some wise men, seers and other well known names have said about astrology:

It was in Poor Richard’s Almanac that Ben Franklin wrote about astrology, saying: “Oh the wonderful knowledge to be found in the stars. Even the smallest things are written there…if you had but skill to read.”

President Theodore Roosevelt kept his horoscope mounted on a chess board in the oval office. When asked about it he would reply, “I always keep my weather eye on the opposition of my seventh house Moon to my first house Mars.”

Donald Reagan, formerly Ronald Reagan’s Chief of Staff said: “It’s common knowledge that a large percentage of Wall Street brokers use astrology.”

The Philosopher Plato said: “Perhaps there is a pattern set up in the heavens for one who desires to see it, and having seen it, to find one in himself.”

Physicist Albert Einstein said: “Astrology is a science in itself and contains an illuminating body of knowledge. It taught me many things and I am greatly indebted to it.”

Physicist Sir Isaac Newton said in defence of astrology, to sceptic Edmund Halley: “I have studied the matter. You sir, have not”.

The poet Ralph Waldo Emerson said: “Astrology is astronomy brought down to earth and applied toward the affairs of man.”

Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine said: “A physician without the knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician.”

Author DH Lawrence said: “Who knows the power that Saturn has over us, or Venus? But it is a vital power, rippling exquisitely through us all the time.”

Scientist Louis Pasteur said: “The controls of life are structured as forms and nuclear arrangements, in relation with the motions of the universe.”

Mark Twain said: “I was born with Halley’s Comet and I expect to die upon its return,” and he did.

Mathematician Pythagoras said: “The stars in the heavens sing a music if only we had ears to hear.”

St. Thomas Aquinas told all who would listen: “The celestial bodies are the cause of all that takes place in the sublunar world.”

Sir Francis Bacon, the father of modern science told us, “The natures and dispositions of men are, not without truth, distinguished from the predominance of the planets.”

Confucius taught his followers that, “Heaven sends down its good and evil symbols and wise men act accordingly.”

Dante called astrology, “The noblest of sciences.”

Shakespeare said, in the person of King Lear…”The stars above govern our condition.” He follows that with “I was born sir, when the Crab was ascending: all my affairs go backwards.”

Goethe wrote an astrological description of his birth...”These auspicious aspects, which the astrologers subsequently interpreted for me, may have been the causes of my preservation.”

Dr. Carl Jung, one of the founding fathers of psychology said: “Astrology is assured recognition from psychology without further restrictions, because astrology represents the summation of all the knowledge of antiquity. The fact that it is possible to construct, in adequate fashion, a person’s character from the data of his nativity, shows the validity of astrology.”

Astronomer Johannes Kepler, the author of Kepler’s Laws of Planetary Motion wrote, “An unfailing experience of mundane events in harmony with the changes occurring in the heavens, has instructed and compelled my unwilling belief.”
